Civic Responsibility Africa (CIRA) is a civil society organization founded by MR. ISAAC K. A. MENSAH BARLO in March 2008. He is a businessman, motivational speaker and African writer who was led by his strong passion to promoting “strong and selfless quality leadership, children and disable welfare in all its forms across Africa”, to establish this organization. Since its inception, the organization has gone through many reshaping and reforms. We are determined to hold the values of selflessness and tolerance to all human kind at high esteem in other to free especially the deprived, from poverty and ignorance.

Beyond this, the organization was also formed to respond to the call by all world communities and civil society organizations for United Nations to help promote the sustainable development goals (SDGs).  The reshaping and reforms of the organization were made possible with the help of Dr. James Kofi Annan (challenging heights), a vision driver, who later introduced him (Mr. Isaac K A Barlo )  to his personal assistant then, in the person of Mr. David Kofi Awusi, now (CEO and Managing consultant of Kwame Awusi & Associates, a public speaker, writer and international development expert).Currently the organization is a founding member of coalition of  NGOs against child trafficking(CNACT) in Ghana. Despite our difficulties in fund raising  and connection to donor world, we are determined to stay on course in order to realize our mission and goals, believing that A unified world is a dignified place, and a dignified man always unites the world around him” Credit Mr. ISAAC K.A.M.
